Endure Lapis - any use?

? I talk about lapis which increases weapons Endurance. Seems like crap to me but maybe it has it's uses? Quests, etc?

I have a defender, and I personally have no use for them. I seriously perfer to spend my gold linking something more useful like rec. or even str.

They would be used in only about the case of a defender. As a defender's armor decreases in endurance, he or she takes bigger and bigger hits, causing the defender to die faster. That would be the only use that I know of, and since rec only goes so far, armor helps a lot, however probably not useful unless you hate going to blacksmiths , or do lonnggg grinds with no stop...then they could come in handy.
